Hello,

We have had a small re-organisation in the Axminster Neighbourhood Police Team and I thought that I would take the opportunity to introduce myself (although I know I have already met some of you) as the Police Community Support Officer with primary responsibility for the rural areas around Axminster – Musbury, All Saints, Kilmington, Dalwood, Hawkchurch, Chardstock, Wilmington, Uplyme, Membury, Shute and Stockland. I work closely with PC Simon Aldred and PCSO Hayley Widger (PCSO with primary responsibility for Axminster Town) and also our Sergeant, PS Karen Bunt.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any issues that you wish to raise with your local Police team (except of course those incidents that are best reported via 999 or 101), require some advice or would like us to attend a specific event or meeting. In turn, I would be grateful if you could respond to this email to confirm the names and contact details (email and phone number) of each of the Parish clerks, so that I can ensure that my contact list is up to date.

I am also aware that many, if not all, of the parishes have a Parish magazine and website – please could you let me know the name of the publication and the best person to contact – I would like to ensure that each magazine has the team’s up to date details and it would be very useful if we could put articles in the publication from time to time (for example, to advertise Devon and Cornwall Alert or to make people aware of the methods of engaging with the team, including our website and Facebook page).

I look forward to working with you all.

With thanks and kind regards,

Chris
