Peter Whiting, chairman of the Uplyme Neighbourhood Plan Group, urges everyone with an interest in the future of their village to make sure they return the questionnaire delivered to every household in early March. He says “We need as much input as possible from everyone on what they see as the strengths and weaknesses of the Parish as it is, and ideas on how it should be developed over the next 10 to 20 years”.

“Although the questionnaire will only take a few minutes to complete, the ideas that you provide will be the basis for future work on the plan. If you missed the original deadline of April 5th, please still make the effort as we want to take as many opinions as we can into account. You can leave it in the Post Office or give it to a Councillor or the Clerk. ”

The replies already given will be collated, and there is a Village Meeting in the Village Hall on Friday 11th April between 4pm and 8pm, to which all parishioners will be welcome. Just drop in to see displays on topics of interest, talk to invited experts and the Councillors. Also a chance for a chat and a cup of tea or coffee … as well as influencing the way your village develops over the next 10-20 years.
