Flamingo Pool

Users of the Flamingo Pool may be interested to receive this information about the main pool.  Once a re-opening date is confirmed, we will update you:

During the regular Christmas maintenance at the pool, it was discovered that some of the supports for the sides of the pool were corroding. The pool was emptied to avoid any damage. The hydrotherapy pool remains open and will continue to be so.

A local structural engineer and several local fabricators have looked at the supports, as well as a representative from the manufacturer, Myrtha Pools.  With the structural engineer, we have planned a way forward and are going to remove and replace the supports. The timeframe is still to be confirmed, but it is important to us that we ensure that the pool is safe and sound for the future.
