I have just heard from Philip Trim Ltd that waste spreading is due to re-start on Wednesday 2nd April. The first application will be from the Coach Road down by Hodder’s Corner. They have been asked to do a second application up the track in Yawl Hill Lane, though the contractor is not certain that this will be possible because of access problems (!)
The local officer from the Environment Agency has been contacted and has given his consent.
So please take care whether you are in a car, on foot or horseback, as you can expect to meet large tankers negotiating the narrow roads from the A35.
