Council urges not to use the roads on Friday morning

We’re urging people not to use the roads tomorrow morning (Friday 2 March).

Continued snow in parts overnight, and freezing rain, on top of sub-zero temperatures, make driving conditions potentially dangerous.

You might be tempted to use the car, but please don’t.  Road conditions are still hazardous.  Please make other arrangements in the morning.
